Evaluation of the Total Ministry
of the Church
The Church Council continues to review goals and set new ones as they try to be
Visionary for the development and outreach of our church’s programs.
Average attendance is at 80.The lower level of sanctuary has been completely
refurbished for expansion of Sunday School classes . 
The classes include
 1 adult( meeting in Activity Center)
 1 teen, 1 elementary,
 and 1 pre-school classes.
               The  Activity Center continues to be used by several groups.

• * Extension Service Meetings  * American Cancer Society

 Ministries and Outreach of the church continued this past year in the following areas

• – Kid’s Club and Christ’s Café – Mission and Ministry (M&M)
• – Thanksgiving Dinner for Shut-ins – Wednesday Night Study Series
• – Drama Group

Celina UMC boasts a strong leadership base:

Strong Sunday School program (7 teachers ranging in age from 20 to 55)Strong Worship Committee (assisting pastor in weekly services)Have also conducted services in pastor’s absence so that replacements
don’t have to be contacted; members feel comfortable conducting services
 for special occasions or emergenciesStrong Church Council Leadership training for council members as needed with large numbers of
 new members4. Strong music program (3 trained musicians and 15 others)Celina United Methodist Church has its own website: www.celinaumc.org
developed and maintained by church members.  The website features
activities and ministries of the church as they happen; the site is also used to
announce the upcoming events and activities of the church. The site is updated
on a regular basis.

Plans are being made at the present time to feature weekly online sermons from
within the website.  Also available on demand  for the pastor are on-line audio
and conference chat centers with other pastors around the world. This aspect
will become reality when the church’s computer center is complete.
