Clay County Mobile Pantry

We are blessed to have a relationship with Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee. They are our partners to provide food for the hungry people of our area. Clay County Tennessee is our home. We know the Lord has called us to help one another. The Scripture says that if you did this to least of these, you did it to me.

Since 2007 this church along with the help of many civic groups and local churches have made it possible to deliver over 50 (fifty) tons of food to the people of Clay County who need assistance with food. We have had the the help of grants and the generosity of many in the people. The need is as great now as ever.

Your Help is Needed

We are working to raise money to have more Mobile Pantry events in Clay County.

Budget cuts in Tennessee state government have effected the number of grants that we had in the past to get funding for local Mobile Pantries.

It has been calculated that if 83 people would be willing to donate $10 a month to this cause, we would have funds to provide a mobile pantry to the community four times a year. We would like to hear from you. Would you be "ONE of 83" ?
